  • Yosuke Tani graduated from Kyoto University in 2010, and received his Ph.D degree from the same university in 2015 under the supervision of Professor Yasushi Tsuji. He also joined Prof. Varinder K. Aggarwal group at the University of Bristol for three months in 2013. Following the postdoctoral work as a JSPS research fellow at Kyoto University with Prof. Jun-ichi Yoshida in 2015, he worked with Prof. Takuji Ogawa at Osaka University as an Assistant Professor from 2015. In 2023, he moved to the group of Prof. Takashi Kubo at Osaka University. He has been a designated associate professor at Nagoya University since 2025. His research interests include catalysis, luminescent materials including organic room-temperature phosphorescence, excited-state dynamics, and stimulus-responsive materials.
